Most cardiac arrests happen outside of hospitals. Quick, effective CPR can double or even triple someone's chance of survival. Whether you're a parent, educator, volunteer, or community member, knowing CPR is one of the most powerful skills you can learn.

What to Expect

Duration

Approximately 2 hours of hands-on training covering CPR and AED use.

Location

Lyceum — Conveniently located in your community for easy access.

Monthly Classes

Classes scheduled throughout the month. Check available dates and times.

All Welcome

No prior experience needed. Classes designed for all skill levels and ages (with parent/guardian for under 18).

Certification

Receive an official CPR/AED certification card upon successful completion.

Recognizing Cardiac Arrest

How to identify the signs and symptoms of cardiac arrest and know when to act immediately.

Chest Compressions

The correct hand placement, compression depth, and rate — all practiced on training mannequins.

Rescue Breathing

When and how to provide rescue breaths as part of effective CPR.

AED Use

How to operate an Automated External Defibrillator safely and effectively in an emergency.

Real Scenarios

Practice responding to realistic emergency situations to build confidence.

Recovery Position

How to position an unconscious person for optimal safety until emergency services arrive.
